As photographers, we are training our eyes to take in the entire scene, often seeing things that non-photographers do. This is exemplified by an experiment looking at the eye movements Canon USA made. The Obsession Experiment is an advert for a printer, but the results are interesting. Check it out! :)

Use this information, and apply it to taking pictures...  Try and look at the whole scene and every element in it!

Professional photographers are obsessed over the details, but we wanted to find out how obsessed. We invited three people to analyze the same print and used eye-tracking technology to trace every eye movement they made. In the end, it was clear, a photographer's obsession is unmatched.
