A recent update to Adobe CC has added new functions to both Lightroom and Photoshop!
In particular, the new 'dehaze' function should provide a great new tool that will allow you to "remove and/or creatively add haze into your image" in Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC (through Camera RAW).
Another great addition to LR is the addition of a 'black and white' slider in local adjustments (graduated filter, radial filter and adjustment brush), allowing you to "get more precise control over the brightest and darkest parts of your photos".
