My logic loop, or How I shoot wildlife
When out shooting wildlife, I have a general looping thought process for taking images, so that I am always ready for a surprise appearance, and can then make the most of each chance!
Quick-tips - Pre-visualization, planning and knowledge
I am frequently asked, “How did you get that shot?” to which I answer vaguely “time”. However, there are some very particular steps I go through in order to get my shots, and I am going to share them with you using a recent picture as an example.
Quick-tips - Batteries and memory cards
It does not matter how good your camera is, or how much your lens costs, because without batteries and memory cards, they are worthless!

Quick-tips - What lens next?
"What lens should I get next?" is a common question I am asked and it is not a simple answer. By looking at this information you can see if you need a direct lens upgrade, or to go longer/wider... I hope this video helps! :)
Quick-tips - Ikea hacks!
Photography is expensive, so I try and take advantage of any little cash-saving tips i can (without impacting images of course). Shoot.fr just released a great little video of what can be hacked out of IKEA goods (I miss IKEA in India). So for all you guys who can get to an IKEA... you should check these out! :)

Travel - Bhitarkanika, Odisha
Bhitarkanika in Odisha, is a lesser known national park, but well worth the visit if you are in the area. It is famous for The saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) with nearly 10% of them over 6 meters long. I found it fantastic for king fishers, and i was pretty much alone the whole day I spent there!
