From start to finish #4 - Importing, backing up & selecting
We have the pictures, now we need to import them onto a computer, make sure they are safeguarded by backing them up and pick which ones we will edit!
Travel - Kerala back-waters
The southern Indian costal state of Kerala is known as "gods own country", and when you visit, the lush and vibrant landscape reflects this. The back-waters of Kerala are a series of brackish lagoons inland from the Arabian see. This wetland paradise is great for birding, as i discovered when i visited, and you can also spot other creatures too! :) Here are a selection of my pictures for you! :)

News - How camera sensors works
For those of you who have not noticed that I am a geek... this should clinch it for you. The combination of science and photography in an informative video! Awesome! The guys at Filmmaker IQ made this great video explaining how camera sensors work... lots of science in it, but it is very well explained and easily digested. From start to finish #3 - The shoot!
You know where you are going and what you want to shoot, you’ve got all your gear ready and packed; now you have to actually get the shots! Here is a video of the shoot, and under that some tips for you to keep at hand to make sure you get as much as you can from a shoot!
Shoots - Baby photography
I am a strong advocate of learning all avenues of photography, as anything you learn in one (e.g. portraiture) can be directly apply to another (e.g. street) and will produce better overall images. I've always taken portraits, but it has never been my primary focus only dabbling from time to time. However, with the arrival of my son, Antoine, in June this year (2015), I have had the fantastic opportunity to do baby photography... this has then spilled over to shooting other peoples babies too. Here is a selection of my baby shoots! :)
